HALF DAY - Considered one of the symbols that make up the past and present history of Naples, Vesuvius is a volcano that is located within the Vesuvius National Park and is one of the most fascinating attractions of Campania.
Known worldwide for ... read morethe eruption of 79 AD, which destroyed with a rain of ash and lapilli numerous cities of the time including Pompeii and Herculaneum that have now become important archaeological sites, Vesuvius made its last eruption in March 1944.
The tour will have a total duration of 4h, including trips.
You will have 2h free to enjoy this magnificent trekking.
Relax aboard a Mercedes sedan or minivan with air conditioning, wifi and bottle of water on board.

The excursion is suitable for everyone and does not require a specific preparation of trekking, has a total length of almost 4 km between return, with a difference in altitude of about 140 meters and an average gradient of 14% up to reach the maximum of 1,170 meters from sea level.
After the visit, the customer can decide to stop for a lunch break and a wine tasting, typical of Vesuvius, with a visit to the vineyards.
You will probably need to add extra hours if you add the lunch, which you will pay separately, since it will take more than 4h, but this we will decide together.
If you like the idea of tasting, we’ll make the second stop for lunch. We usually recommend to our customers a beautiful restaurant not far from Pompeii, overlooking Mount Vesuvius, has very large gardens and vineyards, a riding stable for horses and a swimming pool.
For adults, together with lunch you can do a tasting of wines and typical products of Vesuvius. If you have children, there will be a lunch suitable for them. Included in the price everyone can take a guided tour of the cellars and vineyards.
If you’re interested in lunch, I’ll book a table for you, but you’ll pay directly at the restaurant.

- The guide is not included in the cost of the tour, but I can organize it for you.
- The wine tasting can be replaced with another restaurant
- Attractions can be exchanged based on entrance ticket times or for logistical reasons
- If you cancel between 15 and 7 days before, you will lose 30% of the total amount.
- If you cancel between 6 and 3 days before, you will lose 50% of the total amount.
- If you cancel 2 days before, you will lose the full amount.
We can change the tour even after booking.
